The official description confirms that enemies can supply unique crafting items or items to sell. Steam achievements also record unlocking multiple coin types and both chest types. They do not provide a complete resource-location table.

How to compare coin farming routes

  1. Choose one currency. Use the one required by your next upgrade.
  2. Record a starting balance. Keep the team, weapon and purchased upgrades fixed for the comparison.
  3. Play each candidate room for equal time. Include menu and restart time.
  4. Compare the balance change. Repeat close results because drops vary.

Do not use total coins across different denominations as a single score. A room that earns more of the wrong currency may delay your actual target.

An income purchase also has a cost: the upgrade payback example explains how to compare that cost with the extra earnings.

Should I sell items or keep them?

Keep the ingredients required by your next visible Blacksmith recipe. Review the rest only after you know what you intend to forge. Selling all drops can trade a coin shortage for a material shortage.

  1. Select a revealed weapon in Blacksmith.
  2. Write down its missing ingredients and each required currency.
  3. Check the rewards of available rooms for that target.
  4. Reserve the recipe quantity before selling surplus.

The Weapons shows how the recipe and comparison panel are presented.

Choosing a dungeon for a material

A later dungeon is useful when its rewards match your missing ingredient. The public sources reviewed here do not establish which named enemy supplies every item, so this guide does not assign guessed drops to rooms.

Use the Dungeon Rooms to identify destinations, then compare the reward information in your build. Save an item tooltip or room screenshot with the game version when recording a farming route.

When to compare Expedition income

Before investing, read the selected destination’s currency mix and the separate Expedition Coin Value bonus. The official Swamped Crypt screenshot provides an example of both. Also check whether the hero contributes room XP, as the Paladin example does.

Compare an Expedition upgrade with the main purchase you are saving for. This guide does not assume rewards continue while the game is closed; that behavior remains unverified. Continue to Expeditions for the screenshot explanation.

Coins and item drops: why materials can be missing

A observes coins collecting automatically early in the run, then notices item drops still need to be collected. Much later he buys automatic item collection. B also identifies an automatic dropped-item collection upgrade. Until you have that upgrade, sweep across materials rather than leaving them behind when the torch expires.

Keep three checks separate: is the drop unlocked, is its enemy available in this room, and are you collecting it? A rare-looking ingredient can be blocked by any of these, not simply a low drop chance.

New coin types and older upgrade costs

A explicitly checks that silver is a separate resource, rather than a conversion of a fixed number of copper coins. The recorded runs unlock new coin drops through the Skill Tree and continue needing older currencies for remaining purchases.

Before moving all farming to a later room, list the costs still blocking your next weapon, hero slot and upgrades. Keep an earlier expedition destination or revisit an earlier room if it pays the missing currency. Do not infer a currency’s official name from the narrator calling it green or red.
